 Description  Under the new European F Gas regulation, by July 2011 all engineers involved and working with systems that contain refrigerant must attain a minuimum creditation of J11 refrigerant safe handling. Airedale have responded to this demand by providing the CITB 4 Refrigerant Handling training course. Assessment and certification are carried out to nationally recognised CITB standards.  
 Outcomes 
  • Have increased their knowledge of current legislation and environmental concerns.
  • Understand the causes and effects of ozone depletion and global warming.
  • Be familiar with the availability of non-ozone depleting refrigerant.
  • Be proficient in the reclaim and recycling of refrigerants.
  • Understand the important commissioning techniques leading to a more efficient energy cycle.
