Airedale International is one of the industries leading designers and manufacturers of the very latest in air conditioning technology. However, we recognise that occasionally there are certain circumstances where the replacement of an existing unit is not feasible, typically due to access limitations, and in such situations an alternative approach must be found.
Airedale Service, the service & maintenance division of Airedale International, now provide a full on-site unit refurbishment facility through which units can be completely stripped and rebuilt utilising the very latest brand new components and controls technology.

AsNew – Why not replace with new units? - Restricted Access – Many telecommunications and computer installations do not have the space and access required to move an entire unit without running the risk of service disruption.
- Business Critical Locations – Airedale Service have the experience of completing major refurbishment projects within a number of business critical locations at some of the world’s largest financial organisations and disaster recovery sites. Work is carried out according to detailed client led schedules, in many cases with only one unit being refurbished at any one time to ensure continuous system operation.
- Cost – A refurbishment project can be carried out over a staged period of time, tailored to suit your business and budgetary requirements, with potentially significant cost saving being achieved over the cost of a new installation.
- Facilities Company – For those companies responsible for the maintenance of external customer facilities Airedale Service can work in partnership to provide your customer with an additional, enhanced service offering.
AsNew – What services does it provide? - Controls Upgrade – The very latest hardware and unit strategy technology, designed and developed by Airedale Controls Specialists, can be fitted to existing equipment (we would recommend upgrading / changing all electrical components to ensure full system reliability).
- Mechanical Upgrade – All components within the unit can be replaced *, including the coils which are now manufactured by Airedale at our Leeds facility, with an impartial assessment of all unit parts provided on a requirement for replacement basis.
- CFC Replacement – As a part of any mechanical upgrade it is an ideal opportunity to retro-fit R407c refrigerant. R407c is used as standard across our entire product range with Airedale being at the forefront of its original testing and introduction.
AsNew – What’s the next step? - An Airedale Service engineer will visit your site to assess the units, offer advice and discuss the options available that will best suit your unique site and application requirements, after which a detailed quote will be prepared.
- Once the contract is in place the ordering of parts and sub-assembly of components will commence.
- A dedicated team of engineers will be assigned who will work to a mutually agreed 'schedule of works' to complete the project.
- Final commissioning and handover will only take place once all works are completed to your complete satisfaction.
