Connecting a Sequence Manager to two or more Airedale chillers is to add to the intellect of these already intelligent products. A super-intelligent control system designed to work at the sharp end of today’s working environments where efficient, flexible, yet tight control is crucial, the Sequence Manager integrates air or water cooled chillers* into a single, seamless operating system.Comprising a master controller and two to eight slave chillers, the sequence system is pre-programmed to run as master/slave or run/standby.
Increased Efficiency
Adaptive and proactive, the master controller will ‘play’ the cooling system for best-fit solutions. It will look for least run hours to ensure equal wear on compressors; provide a balanced load or cascade type loading for lower running costs and allow remote or time zone set point adjustment across the sequence. The controller will utilise free-cooling in order to maximise on energy efficiency. It will react to critical alarms by switching over to a standby chiller or in the event of network failure, change chillers to stand-alone operation. In run/standby mode, each chiller is self-controlling, but the master chiller elects which is to run or be on standby.
