Remote Electronic Expansion Valves
Up to 30% increase in split system efficiency
By providing stable and accurate control of the refrigeration system superheat, the Remote Electronic Expansion Valve (REEV) brings an increase of up to 30% efficiency to any refrigeration system, split or packaged. The REEV’s ability to operate at low condensing pressures, as well as to manage precise superheat control, enables operators to see reduced costs and carbon footprint compared with a thermostatic expansion valve (TEV).
Extremely Versatile
Easily applied in commercial, retail or leisure applications, the Remote Electronic Expansion Valve (REEV) will integrate any manufacturer's condensing unit with any manufacturer's air handling unit (AHU) in a 1-1 circuit match, regardless of size. Airedale's high efficiency BluCube R410A condensing unit, featuring variable capacity control and modulating head pressure control, is designed to maximise the benefit of REEV.
Simple installation and retrofit
For efficient control of the system, the REEV valve is installed close to the evaporator, with the compact and unobtrusive REEV control box located remotely within 5 metres of the evaporator case. Cabling is minimised.
Remote Electronic Expansion Valve Key Benefits
- Can be applied to any system ranging between 8 – 2050kW
- Compatible with one of five refrigerant types per REEV system (R410A, R407C, R134a, R404A or R22)
- Allows up to four circuit configurations to be managed as one single, centralised control panel
- Localised panel for minimal cabling and reduced installation costs
- Retrofit capability, eliminating cost of new installation and increasing energy efficiency of older equipment
