History 
Modine has adopted an Environmental Policy that requires each employee to obey environmental laws, work to reduce pollution and take an active role in the continuous improvement of our facility's environmental program. We use an Environmental Management System (EMS) to systematically reduce our environmental impacts and are committed to implementing our EMS at all facilities world-wide.
Modine's EMS is based on the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems. Modine routinely conducts self-audits and uses a third-party auditor to achieve and maintain ISO 14001 certification. As of August 2007, 28 Modine facilities have completed their EMS implementation and are third-party certified to ISO 14001. Click here to see the list of the facilities and their certifications. All Modine facilities are now required to implement the global EMS.
