Airedale Air Conditioning, Leeds, UK, March 16, 2015
Returned and refreshed from another record-breaking Data Centre World exhibition at Excel, London. The Airedale stand was awash with IT cooling system product, building management energy systems (BEMS), automation and Controls. The event attracted a record breaking attendance, with a 33% increase from 2014 stand visitors.
Massive thanks to all of you that visited us on Stand C32 or attended our 'Innovation in renovation' seminar featuring a BAE Warton case study. It was a real pleasure to discuss your forthcoming requirements and some very exciting projects.
A guided video tour of Airedale's innovations in cooling at Data Centre World 2015
Airedale's Marketing Manager Richard Burcher gives you a guided tour of Airedale's award-winning product range on show on stand C32.
The below gives you a brief overview of the systems we exhibited and also includes access to more useful information:
AireFlow™ Indirect Adiabatic AHU (100-440kW)
Our indirect fresh-air evaporative data centre cooling system uses only the outside ambient air and water to cool your facility providing huge free-cooling potential, low carbon emissions and significantly decreased operating costs.
SmartCool™ CRAC range (11-233kW)
The double award winning Data Centre Solutions ‘Datacentre Energy Efficiency Product of the Year’ and H&V News ‘Commercial Building Services Product of the Year’ provides up to 30% more cooling per kW/m² than its nearest rival.
InRak™ DX / Chilled Water (10-63kW)
Maximizing valuable floorspace, our in-row cooling system provides high density, targeted rack cooling from the smallest possible footprint. Suitable for hot aisle and cold aisle configurations, InRak™ delivers horizontal air conduction, ensuring the cold air reaches the rack via the shortest route.
OnRak™ rear door heat exchanger (35kW)
The OnRak™ is a resilient rear door heat exchanger, designed to manage high discharge temperatures directly from the server into the aisle space, providing up to 35kW cooling with an EER of 114.5 (n) & 183.0 (n+1)
AireTile air flow management (up to 1.2m³/s)
Installed in front of the server, in the raised floor, AireTile provides greater flexibility for cooling high-density racks. Integrated sensors ensure cold air requirements are automatically calculated and the right air flow rate is provided.
ACIS™ - Building Energy Management System
The journey to creating a high performance data centre starts with taking an all embracing holistic view of the facility and how it operates. Our ACIS™ system provides an integrated approach to building management that can reduce energy use, decrease operating expenditure and optimise business performance.
Airedale Presented - 'Innovation in Renovation'
Using our knowledge of data centre cooling technologies, controls integration and retrofit expertise, we demonstrated how to maximise the efficiency and resilience of live environments without compromising business continuity. The seminar included a BAE Systems case study where annual savings of 70-80% on its computer room air conditioning energy costs have been achieved with a payback of less than 15 months.
