Day 11 Update
Date: 17th September 2013 | Posted by: Airedale Team | Posted in: Press release
Exceptional progress continues to be made, with our main priorities being to complete existing orders and replacing lost stock.
Production of small systems, control panels and component assembly is now underway. Lifting equipment has been salvaged and is being tested and compressed air restored to the site. We have also completed an inventory of tools and equipment which will allow us to identify our needs; we are also fabricating jigs and fixtures. New racking has been procured for stores and packing tables built for our Spares division.
More good news: we will start taking parts deliveries at the new site from tomorrow (17/9/13).
Power has now been restored to the training room and whilst our range of air and refrigeration courses have been postponed for the time being, the extra space is proving useful.
At the same time, preparations are being made for the ‘all-hands’ session which will take place between 12 noon and 2pm on Tuesday, 24 September at the new site.
The address is Gelderd Lane, off Gelderd Road (A62), LS12 6AL
In addition to a full update from Clive Parkman, Managing Director, you will also hear from our senior representatives from Modine, including:
Tom Burke – President/CEO; Tom Marry - Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Margaret Kelsey - VP Corporate Development/General Counsel/Secretary; Matt McBurney - Vice President, Commercial Products Group; and Kathleen Powers - Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations.
Refreshments will be provided and whilst there is plenty of parking, you may want to car share. A map will be circulated by email to Line Managers shortly.
Our Commercial and Support teams continue to keep in touch with customers and suppliers and Marketing activity continues as normal, as we look to generate new and existing leads in the UK and overseas. In addition to all this, it’s ‘business as usual’ for our Controls, Service & Commissioning teams who continue to generate sizable revenue streams for the business.
As you can see, we’re continuing to make great progress. Please watch this space for more news as we approach the milestone – our move to the new site.
