Employee Update: Next Steps

Employee Update: Next Steps

Date: 19th September 2013  |   Posted by: Airedale Team  |   Posted in: Press release

Plans for the move to our new building in central Leeds are now well underway, with signage being erected next week - evidence that we are very firmly in business. Parts deliveries are already being taken at the new facility and we are busy preparing the communications and IT infrastructure, as well as organizing power and other facilities to allow administration and production to move across on a phased basis over the coming weeks.

Our Sales and Marketing teams are busy contacting customers and preparing for our presence at a number of forthcoming global events including Datacenter Dynamics in Moscow, 29 October and Datacenter Dynamics, London Excel, 20 & 21 November in addition to a number of preferred supplier events with key customers. We are also proud to be sponsoring the RAC Cooling Awards in London next week.

Follow up from the Energy Event, NEC Birmingham, 10 & 11 September and the recent Energy tab Bielsko-Biala event in Poland is bringing in more new enquiries for product as well as for our Spares, Service and Controls divisions.

Business continues as usual with the ongoing manufacture of small systems, control panels and component assembly, and our Service and Commissioning engineering teams are attending customer sites throughout the UK as planned.

Looking further ahead, product development work has now resumed, as our team of highly-skilled engineers continue to work on planned product launches and other industry innovations which will further cement our market-leading position.

We are also working on plans to develop the Rawdon site into a new world-class facility which will open in the year of our 40th celebrations and take us forward into another successful era.

More details will be provided at our ‘all-hands’ session next Tuesday, 24 September from 12 noon to 2pm on Gelderd Lane, off Gelderd Road (A62), LS12 6AL. Please remember to bring your measurements so that new personal protective equipment can be ordered for you and, if possible, arrange to car share.

We look forward to seeing you there.
