The on-site team stated that the chillers were built to a much higher standard and quality than the units that they are used to in the market, which is great to see and hear.<\/p>\n<p>Once commissioned, the chillers will provide cooling to 8 x 9MW data halls in building 1 of what is eventually planned to be a 300MW development.<\/p>\n<p>Airedale\u2019s OptiChill chillers were selected by <a href=\"https:\/\/corscale.com\/\">Corscale<\/a> due to their market-leading free cooling performance. At the launch of the partnership Nic Bustamante, Senior Vice President, Development from Corscale said,<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe selected to work with Airedale by Modine because we wanted something that mirrors our dedication to deliver sustainability at scale. We wanted to work with an established brand that our customers can trust. Airedale products are renowned for their innovative approach and commitment to efficiency, which in turn reduces wastage, and we were impressed by the work they have done across the world with other data centres.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rob Bedard, General Manager of Airedale\u2019s North American Data Center business said,<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are delighted to celebrate yet another milestone at our Virginia plant by seeing these first 14 chillers leave the plant and start their life in service at Corscale\u2019s new data center.
