UV-C Active Air Disinfection System is a fast, continuous air disinfection system ideal for schools, universities and daycare centers. The patented device is uniquely designed by combining an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) chamber and air circulating fans with an optional light in a ceiling mounted package. The innovative design allows for continuous operation in occupied spaces.

Conveniently installed in ceilings, UV-C Active Air Disinfection System is an unobtrusive space saver and improves indoor air quality (IAQ). Each unit draws in airborne pathogens and pollutants with an array of fans. Air then passes through a MERV 6 filter where larger particulates of dust are trapped, but pathogens are able to pass through into a shielded chamber. A 253.7 nm UV-C bulb is used to treat the air, neutralizing viruses, bacteria, and fungi. The air exits the chamber at a 30-degree angle to promote optimal circulation.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and universities have faced the monumental challenge of providing a safe learning environment. From the pandemic, it became clear that airborne pathogens are the most significant contributor to the spread of illness. Strategies to mitigate this risk include increased ventilation, improved filtration, and germicidal solutions.
